Louise Archer Sunshine News #6

song

Our second grade students sing and dance to a festive turkey song in music class!

From the Principal's Desk:

We are looking forward to the upcoming Thanksgiving break starting on November 27th. I want you to know that we plan to give our students a break during these upcoming holidays.  Our teachers will not assign homework, projects, papers, reading, and/or studying specifically to be done over Thanksgiving or Winter break.  Students and teachers need breaks from the many demands of school life.  A healthy balance is critical to everyone’s well-being. Our entire Madison pyramid are in the spirit of honoring family traditions as we simultaneously address issues of student stress.

We encourage you to take time during the Thanksgiving break to share stories and discuss the many things you are thankful for as a family and as part of the Louise Archer community. We feel fortunate for the wonderful staff members, families, and friends we have here at Louise Archer! We wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your family!
