Student-Parent Survey for Impact Aid

Beginning on October 21, FCPS will be asking all families to fill out a Student-Parent Survey for Federal Impact Aid. Students will receive forms in their first period classes on Tuesday, October 22.

Returning this form is important because information from this survey results in an additional $3 million in grants each year from the U.S. Department of Education. These funds are used to support all Fairfax County public schools and centers.

For each school-aged child in your household, please complete, sign, date, and return the survey to your child's school. If sections 1 and 2 of the survey do not apply to you, just check the box in Section 3.  All forms must be signed, dated, and returned to Your child’s first period teacher by October 30. All results are CONFIDENTIAL.

  2. Complete homework and get free tutoring from our NJHS students.
  3. Participate in organized games/activities in the gym.

College and Career Day

Call for Volunteers

November 11th (Veteran’s Day)

The Student Services Department will be hosting Career Day for the 2019-2020 school year on Monday, November 11th from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.  We love hearing from a variety of professions enables the students to be engaged and excited about the college and career exploration process.  Professionals who have out of the ordinary jobs, something hands on, or handouts for the students are naturally most popular!

Please fill out the form below to provide your contact information to volunteer for this event at Poe Middle by November 1, 2019:
