Kindness and empathy are essential character traits and go hand in hand with our Halley caring community efforts. In order to highlight the importance of these qualities we will be collecting canned food to donate to Lorton Community Action Center (LCAC) to support their efforts to help families in need, particularly as we approach the holiday season.

LCAC is our wonderful community partner and helps to fund our Hornet Academy!  We want to do whatever we can to support them!  Below is a list of suggested food items that are currently in short supply and have been specifically requested by LCAC.

**Please do not donate food in glass containers or food that requires refrigeration. Thank you for your support!

List of Requested Food Items:

  • Breakfast cereals
  • Canned Beans
