Dolphin Dads,
We are pleased to announce the FBES has brought the Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) to our schools this year. The Watch D.O.G.S. is for Dads, Step Dads, Big Brothers, Uncles, Grand Fathers or other positive male role models in our students lives.
In order to make this year a smashing success, we need 700 dads (one out of every 2.5 students) to volunteer. This is like no other volunteer opportunity you have volunteered for in the past. You can either sign up for a half day (0850-1300 or 1300-1630) or full day (0850-1630) depending on your availability. During your time at the school, you will be with your student in their class room, on the playgrounds, gym, art, music, patrolling the hallways and other tasks. If you do the morning shift or sign up for a full day, you and your student will also be on the morning video announcement, making him/her the star of the day.
You will NOT be signing up to file paperwork or asked to do other administrative tasks. You will however be handing out rewards to students that exemplify the Dolphin Pride Promise.
Please take a few hours out of the year to come support your child(ren). These few hours of your time will give your student lifetime memories! Thank you for supporting your student(s) and we hope to see you soon.
