Dear White Oaks Families,
In preparation for tonight's Lake Braddock football game (and every athletic event at LBSS), please see the message that Dr. Smith shared with us earlier this week. While I never want to fill up your inbox with duplicate messages, I believe this one was important enough to send out from WOES, just in case anyone might have missed it initially.
In advance, please accept my huge thanks and appreciation for your part in making the Lake Braddock pyramid on of the best in FCPS. Specifically, thank you for helping to foster and maintain a culture of class, wholesomeness, and positive spirit. We all know how critically important academics are, and yet demonstrating great character at all times, in all settings, surely is just as important.
Thanks and GO BRUINS!!
Respectfully,
Ryan Richardson
Principal
Lake Braddock Secondary School is anticipating a large crowd for Friday’s varsity home football game against the visiting Woodson Cavaliers. We wanted to take a moment to remind you of the following guidelines to ensure that all of our guests, students, and parents enjoy the true spirit of the event:
- Lake Braddock Secondary School is a drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free zone.
- Guests will not be allowed to enter the stadium with containers such as water bottles, cups, cans, coolers, etc.
- Guests will not be allowed to enter the stadium with backpacks or large bags, or sporting equipment (footballs, soccer balls, etc.).
- Once you leave the stadium, there is no re-entry to the event
- Representatives from the Fairfax County Police Department, the Lake Braddock Administration, and the Lake Braddock Security Staff will be on hand to ensure a safe and secure environment for both Lake Braddock fans and for our visitors and guests.
- Lake Braddock students and parents are asked to demonstrate good citizenship and spirited sportsmanship to our opponents and their fans. Let's show everyone why Bruin Nation is the class of the Region!
Thank you in advance for your adherence to these guidelines.
Thanks for your help!
Daniel
