Perspective/Attendance

Dear Marshall Road Families,

Next week we will learn about perspective. Teaching perspective to our students is not an easy task. Being able to see things from multiple angles helps children remain calm and learn from their mistakes. We consistently teach our students to reflect on their own feelings, thoughts, and motives. This helps them understand and empathize with other people. We hope our Roadrunners will become strong listeners and learn to ask great questions. Reminding students to look at a situation from another person’s perspective will help them to become empathetic humans in the future.

“He who knows all the answers has not been asked all the questions.”              -Confucius

Tonight promises to be an exciting evening for all as the PTA is offering two fun activities. Bring your children over to join in on all of the fun and learning that will be taking place!

  • Book Fair (4:00 pm - 8:00 pm) - library
  • STEAM Night (6:30 pm - 8:30 pm) - cafeteria and gym

Please consider joining us on Wednesday, October 23, 9:30 am – 10:30 am in the cafeteria for our Principal Tea and PTA meeting.  This is a great way to connect with other Marshall Road parents and hear about all the exciting things going on at our school.

We realize it can be challenging as a parent to determine when to keep your child home from school. There are a variety of things to consider when making this decision and we hope the flyer below will be helpful.
