FCPS Weekly Progress Reports will not be sent to parents Wednesday, Oct. 30 through Friday, Nov. 8 during first quarter grading and report card generation. Additionally, the Grade Book and Report Card modules in ParentVUE and StudentVUE will be closed Friday, Nov. 1, at 4:00 p.m. through Saturday, Nov. 9, at 6:00 a.m.
A reminder that AP Exam Opt-Out forms are due no later than October 25, 2019. Timely submission of the Opt-Out form indicating which AP exam(s) a student does not wish to take is necessary for the student to avoid fees. AP Exam registration cannot be updated or changed past October 25. The College Board is assessing a $40.00 fee to students who are registered for the AP exam but do not sit for the AP exam. Students will be charged the College Board’s $40.00 fee if they decide not to take an AP exam(s) and did not submit an Opt-Out form by October 25, or if a student drops an AP course after the Opt-Out deadline of October 25.
