How to Help Your Child Select Appropriate Books
While children should reread books to build fluency, it is also important that they learn how to choose books that are suitable for their ability. One way to promote an interest in reading is working with your child to select “Just Right” books. The Five Finger Rule is a quick and easy starting point for your child to check if a book is a right fit. To learn more about the Five Finger rule click here.
