Mustache Monday !

Spirit Week

Spirt Day is this Friday, October 11th! Wear your Cameron Tee-Shirt or Cameron School Colors (Red, Black, or White).

This Thursday is Sports Jersey Day. Show your Spirt this week!

The next meeting of the Cameron Elementary PTA will take place on Tuesday, October 15, at 7:00 PM in the Parent Resource Center at Cameron. We will hear from Ms. Williams about Advanced Academics at Cameron and finalize plans for upcoming PTA events. All Cameron families are welcome!

Speak Up Be Safe Program Information

Speak Up Be Safe Program coming to Cameron Nov. 18 - 22!

The Speak Up Be Safe Program is a program provided through Fairfax County and has been approved by Fairfax County Public Schools. The program is offered at no cost to participants and is presented by trained facilitators. This child abuse prevention curriculum for children explains safe and unsafe touches and empowers children to act if they are threatened or victimized. The program provides children with a comfortable and nonthreatening way to talk about abuse and body safety. Children also learn skills needed to stay safe, to respond to bullying and to handle sad or angry feelings. Opt Out forms in English and in Spanish will come home to parents. Cindi Bryant will be at the October 15th PTA meeting with some curriculum samples and opt out forms. Please join us at the PTA meeting if you would like to learn more about this important program.
