Hollin Meadows News and Updates for the Week of Sept. 23
Meet Our Parent Liaisons
Hollin Meadows is fortunate to have two parent liaisons, Julian Guttierez and Brian Newburn, as members of our school staff. Some of the things families may contact parent liaisons for include:
- assistance setting up a meeting
- help completing forms
- help getting an interpreter
- an opportunity just to talk with someone about concerns
They are at school each day from 8 - 10 a.m. and may be found in the lobby before school, the parent center or walking the halls.

End of First Quarter Parent/Guardian Conferences
Teacher-parent/guardian conferences are an opportunity for parents/guardians and teachers to talk face-to-face about how a child is doing and how teachers-parents/guardians can work together to provide the best possible education. If your child's teacher hasn't done so already, she/he will be contacting you to schedule a time to meet. By the start of the second quarter (November 6th) teachers and parents/guardians should have completed a face-to-face conference. Please make plans to attend.
