Dear ICES CROC Parents,
In last week's Thursday folder, you should have received a letter about the PTA's Armchair Fundraiser. The Armchair Fundraiser is PTA's EASY donation based fundraiser. The PTA spends approximately $56 per student every year providing agenda books, Thursday folders, cost assistance for field trips (to lower the student fee), computers, tablets, and other technology, and much more. One way we raise money for the students of Island Creek is through the Armchair Fundraiser. There is no selling, no hauling items back and forth to school; it is all donation based. We are asking for your tax deductible donation to our school PTA to help support all Island Creek Crocs. We encourage you to invite your neighbors or family members who would have been willing to purchase wrapping paper or candy from your student, to also consider making a donation to our school as well. We encourage a donation of $50 per student; however, donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and will help us support our Crocs.
To keep things fun, we are holding both a grade level as well as a school wide competition. The class in each grade level to collect the most donations will win a popsicle party! The class to collect the most in the whole school will win a pizza party!
Donations can be made online at https://ices.memberhub.store/ or by completing the form sent in your student’s Thursday folder last week which can also be found at http://islandcreekpta.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Armchair-Letter-2019.pdf. Please send your form with cash or check in a white envelope labeled PTA Armchair to your student's teacher.
