PSAT/NMSQT 2019

The 2019 PSAT will be administered to all tenth and eleventh grade students at WSHS on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. Beginning this school year, FCPS pays the fees for all students in Grades 10 and 11 to take the test. Taking the PSAT/NMSQT enables students to get feedback about critical academic skills, seek information from colleges, enter scholarship competitions, practice for the SAT Reasoning Test, and initiate the college planning process. More information about the PSAT/NMSQT may be found on the College Board website or the WSHS Testing website, and specific details regarding the testing schedule will be published as they become available.

AP Exam Registration and Fees 2019

Starting this school year, AP students will register for their AP exams online via https://myap.collegeboard.org/login. In mid-September, AP teachers will provide students with a “Join Code” that will allow students to register for each AP exam. The deadline to join AP courses in MyAP and register for exams is October 25th. FCPS continues to pay for the first six AP exams a student takes throughout their high school career. Each AP exam beyond the first six FCPS-funded exams will incur a non-refundable fee of $94.00 (per exam). Any schedule changes or exam registration changes after October 25, 2019, will incur additional fees.

Please visit the WSHS AP Testing website or the FCPS AP/IB Test Fees FAQs page for additional information about the registration process, opting-out, fees, or registering for additional exams.
