PTA News...

First Spirit Night of the School Year

Next Tuesday, September 24, stop by the Chipotle at 1144 Elden Street in Herndon from 5-9 pm and pig out for the PTA.  A portion of the in-store purchases will be donated to us.  These fundraisers make it possible to continue providing your children PTA clubs, fun activities, and memorable events like Spooky Bingo!  Make sure to show the fundraiser flyer (from the upcoming Thursday folder or on your phone) or tell the cashier at checkout that you are there for a fundraiser before you pay!

We will be voting on the proposed budget for 2019-2020. Everyone is welcome to attend, but only PTA members can vote.

PTA-Organized Clubs for Fall

PTA-organized clubs will be starting at the end of the month!  In order for a club to be offered, it must have a PTA member volunteer willing to coordinate and receive PTA Board approval. If there is a club that you want to see for your child, please consider volunteering to make it happen!

See Thursday folders for information about registering. The clubs the PTA will offer this Fall include: Chess Bee Academy Kids Yoga Team Character Basketball Young Rembrandts

Have an idea for a club? Awesome! Contact Alysia at herndonptaclubs@gmail.com to get started.

New Way to Collect Box Tops

Box Tops is transitioning to a digital app, but there are still some "clip-able" Box Tops in circulation. Please continue to send them in with your student! And download the app where earning money for the school is as easy as taking a photo of your receipt! Let us know if you have any questions! Our Box Tops Coordinator Jilian Breeden is ready to help!  She will speak at the PTA Meeting on September 26 as well to give you an update and answer your questions.
