Late buses for the 2019-20 school year will start on Monday, September 23rd.  The week of September 23-26 is for academic work with teachers, as well as fall play auditions and a few specific club interest meetings.  The full schedule of after school clubs and activities will then begin on Monday, September 30th.

A signup form for the week of September 23-26 is available on the After School Website now.  Please keep in mind that students planning to stay to work with a teacher must make an appointment with that individual teacher ahead of time.  Students planning to ride the late bus home should also sign up for a B session study hall option.

Signups for the month of October will be available on that same site starting on September 23rd.  The deadline for signing up for after-school is the END OF D-LUNCH (12:42pm) on the day your student wishes to stay after school.

Parents, this is a reminder that after-school programs end at 4:40pm.  If you plan to pick your student up at kiss-n-ride, you must be here by 4:45pm, or we will ask them to get on a late bus.

Auditions for the fall play, A Night of One Acts, will happen on Monday, September 23rd and Thursday, September 26th during A and B sessions.  Plan to ride the late bus home, or get picked up by 4:45 pm.  See Ms. Stacey in room 419 for a specific audition schedule, and be sure to sign up online if you plan to participate.  Email Ms. Stacey with questions.

Our first school pep rally will be this Friday, September 20th, during Advisory.  We are going to flip the schedule around that day:

The student schedule will be: 2, 8, 6, A/A. 

7th graders will attend the pep rally during the first advisory period, and 8th graders will attend during the 2nd advisory period.  We will have guest performances from the Falls Church HS cheerleaders and drum-line as well as a message from the Falls Church varsity football team.  Students should wear their red and black to school that day!

Friday, September 20th is "Middle School Night" at the Falls Church HS varsity football game.  We'll have a Luther Jackson tailgate on the tennis courts at FCHS starting at 5:30pm.  Bring your whole family to celebrate #jacksonpride with some food and tailgate games leading up to kickoff!
