Meet New Members of Our Staff
Mrs. Lili Jackson
I am so excited to join the Sleepy Hollow staff for my 6th year teaching! I have taught 4th grade-6th grades in the past and this is my first year teaching a primary grade. I am very excited to work with younger students.
I am a FCPS graduate myself and spent my entire childhood in Northern Virginia. I graduated from George C. Marshall High School in Falls Church and I attended graduate school at George Mason University. I really enjoy cooking and going on walks with my family.

Mrs. Susan Menashi
HI! My name is Susan Menashi and I’m so excited to join the Sleepy Hollow community! I grew up in New Jersey and knew I wanted to become a teacher since the third grade. I pursued that dream and graduated from a small college called Georgian Court University where I received my degree in Elementary and Special Education with a minor in Art Education. After graduating, I moved down to Virginia and started working for Fairfax County Public Schools in 2008 teaching first grade. I’ve spent most of my time teaching second grade but have also taught third grade for three years. In 2013, I went back to school and earned my masters in Literacy with a Reading Specialist certification from George Mason University. I love watching my students grow as readers and writers! In my personal time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, reading, and watching football (Go NY Giants! 😊) but what I love the most is spending time with family and friends, especially my husband and 8 month old son.

New for 2019: FCPS Now Using the Here Comes the Bus Mobile App
To help you know when your child’s bus is approaching your stop, FCPS is now using the Here Comes the Bus mobile app, starting on August 26. Here Comes the Bus is a free school bus tracking app that can simplify morning and afternoon routines for parents and students by giving real-time bus location and text or email notification alerts, helping everybody get to the bus stop on time.
Here Comes the Bus® uses FCPS global positioning system (GPS) data and an easy-to-use customizable map that works on one or multiple devices, such as a tablet, smartphone, or desktop computer.
Parents can download the app now for free from the App Store or Google Play. You will need the FCPS school district code 28982 and a Student Information System (SIS) Parent Account (contact your child's school if you do not have an SIS Parent Account). Once signed in, you can customize or edit features, including how the app will communicate with you, and the size and location of the notification radius around your child's bus stop.
