Principal's Message: Mutual Respect

Dear Haycock Community,

Another great week here at Haycock - time flies when you are having fun!  I have thoroughly enjoyed being visible during arrival and dismissal to connect with our students and families.  After asking students how their day is going while walking the halls, it always warms my heart when they ask about my day in return.  Establishing and maintaining mutual respect is one key to our success.

Mark your calendars for Fall Picture Day on Tuesday!  Haycock will be awarded the Virginia Index Performance Award at the FCPS School Board meeting at Jackson Middle School this Thursday at 7:30 PM!  I am honored to represent our community.

A reminder that we expect to have your child return the parent signature page to their teacher from the School Rights & Responsibilities Handbook (SR&R) by Friday.  It is very important that we receive this for every student.

There are several announcements, reminders, and links below, so keep scrolling!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

All my best,

Scott

P.S. Go Patriots!  :)
