Back to School Night (BTSN)

Wednesday, 9/11/19

Our annual BTSN is Wednesday, 9/11. This event is an opportunity for parents / guardians to meet our teachers and hear a little about each class your child will be taking. We invite parents to arrive as early at 5:45 to visit with school groups who will have information tables in the main hallway as well as some student clubs who may be doing fundraising. We ask that parents be in their child’s first period class by 6:45 for a welcome video presentation. Our schedule that night will follow the blue day sequence of classes (periods 1,3,5,7) followed by a green day (2,6,8 – 4th period seminars don’t meet). The “bell” for first period to begin is at 7:00PM.

BTSN– Shuttle Opportunity

SLHS is providing shuttle service from several feeder elementary schools since parking is often a challenge (and it often rains!).  Please consider riding one of the four shuttle buses being offered with stops at five schools. See below for schedule.   PLEASE sign-up so that we can plan appropriately. If we have less than five (5) people signed up for a bus two days before the event (morning of 9/9/19) we will cancel the bus.

BTSN -Tables for School Groups

SLHS clubs and directly affiliated groups (PTSA, booster groups) are invited to reserve a table for Back To School Night. Tables will be available in the main hallway starting at 5:30PM. We encourage groups to finish their table activities by 7:00PM so we can maximize space in the main hall for transitions to classes. Sign up for a table at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508054BA9AD2DA02-btsn8

Due to capacity restraints, we are not able to honor table requests from groups outside of SLHS.
