Kiss and Ride Tags
As previously shared with all McNair families, if you plan to use our Kiss and Ride loop for afternoon dismissal, this year, you must register to use it in order to receive your car tag.
If you have already registered to use our Kiss and Ride loop during afternoon dismissal, car tags will be sent home with your child in next week's Tuesday Folder. We will begin dismissing students using their new car tag on Thursday, September 5th. We have well over one hundred people who have already signed up, which I appreciate it!
If you still need to obtain a car tag, you must register for it by completing the following Google form:

Tardy Passes
As a school, we recognize that beginning school requires establishing new routines in the morning in order to get your child to school on time, which is why we have not issued tardy passes this week.
This is a friendly reminder that school begins each day at 8:45 a.m. If your child is not in the building when the bell rings at 8:45 a.m., then they will be given a tardy pass and marked "tardy" on their daily attendance. We began issuing them on Tuesday, September 3rd.
It is very important to plan ahead in the mornings to ensure that your child has eaten a healthy breakfast, is in their classroom, and is ready to learn. Please help us minimize the number of tardy passes we issue this school year by helping your child to arrive to school on time.
McNair T-Shirts
If you are interested in purchasing a McNair t-shirt for your child or yourself, please complete the pre-order form that was sent home in this week's Tuesday Folder. Please indicate how many t-shirts; and what size of each, you would like to order. Please send in exact cash only or make checks payable to: McNair ES.
New Birthday Policy
This year, we are going snack free for birthday celebrations. We ask that you not send in food items with your child on their birthday. It is not necessary to send anything in; however, if you would like to, you are welcome to send in goody bags for each student in your child's class that contains non-food and school appropriate items.
