Dear Beech Tree Families,
We hope you enjoyed your four day weekend as a family. It sure was beautiful here in Virginia! Our students have continued to enjoy time outside during recess, thanks to the weather’s cooperation. Beech Tree Beavers are engaged in their classrooms, beginning each day with a Morning Meeting, practicing greeting each other, sharing, reading their Morning Message, and participating in a morning activity. We are also a Positivity Project School or P2 School. We teach the 24 character traits that help us establish and maintain positive relationships. Thank you for helping us establish smooth transitions during arrival and departure. If you ever need to change how your child will go home, please inform the office as soon as possible. Last minute changes are difficult to communicate and can lead to confusion.
If you would like to volunteer at Beech Tree and be a PAL Mentor, please contact our school counselor, Yolanda Adams at yeadams@fcps.edu. Students enjoy spending time with our community members!
