Every other week, we will send our "On The Run" newsletter containing important school information. The newsletter is in a 'text to speech' format, so you may choose to read or listen to it via mobile device/computer. We organize the newsletter with "All Grades" first, followed by specific grade level information. You will find the table of contents below to help guide you to pertinent information. Dear Colvin Run Families,
We had a wonderful opening with happy children who were greeted by an incredible and enthusiastic staff. We are looking forward to another amazing year at Colvin Run Elementary School (CRES). The staff and PTO continued to work throughout the summer to ensure that our children experience and benefit from integrated, enhanced and enriching learning opportunities. A huge thank you to all of our teachers and specialists for all of their work to ensure classrooms are ready to excite and engage students in learning. Our school is already buzzing with excited staff, students, and parents who are working together as we continue our collective commitment to provide students with a 21st century educational experience and caring culture.
We were able to start the 4th- 6th grade D-R-A-G-O-N specials schedule the second day of school and all K-3rd grade specials started as well. The current D-R-A-G-O-N schedule day is always listed on the Colvin Run Elementary calendar found on the CRES homepage. The letter day of the D-R-A-G-O-N schedule is also posted on the Front Office window each day to remind students regarding what is needed for their specials.
Working together, we are confident Colvin Run will continue to be an amazing school focused on a caring culture to support the personal and academic growth of every child.
Take care,
Mr. Junge and Mrs. Carmack
