Friendly Reminder

Westlawn School Hours

Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM - 3:30PM 

First Bell 8:35AM, Second Bell 8:45AM

Students are considered tardy after 8:45AM.

Westlawn Elementary School staff members are prepared to supervise students starting at 8:30 AM. To keep our students safe, walkers and car riders should not arrive at school earlier than 8:30 AM. We dismiss at 3:30PM.

Westlawn Recieves Northrop Grumman Corporation Engineering Grant

The Northrop Grumman Corporation awarded Westlawn Elementary School a grant for 2019-2020 school year in the amount of $10,000.00. The grant is designated for Engineering Instruction. We plan to offer students free after-school robotics sessions. We will also integrate robotics in our science instruction during the school day. Finally, we will have students from Luther Jackson Middle School and Falls Church High School assist the teachers during the after-school programs. Be sure to look for the flyer with more details.

Literacy Activities for Parents and Children!

Come hear the book, Sing, Don’t Cry read and activities explained.

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM (Pizza Dinner 6:00PM – 6:30PM)

FECEP, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grades are invited. Students should come with an adult.
