Stadium Expectations

Dear Bulldogs,

As we prepare for Friday night’s (Aug 30, 2019) first home varsity football game vs Battlefield, I wanted to take a moment to remind you that the following guidelines are in effect to ensure that all of our patrons, students and parents enjoy the true spirit of the event:

- Varsity Football Games will start at 7pm.  We will open our ticket gates at 5:30pm

- Westfield High School (including the parking lots) is a drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free zone. Adults and students who are determined to be in violation of regulations restricting the possession or being under the influence of drugs, alcohol and/or tobacco will be dealt with accordingly, including being subject to arrest by police.

- Representatives from the Fairfax County Police Department, the Westfield Administration, and the Westfield Security Staff will continue to monitor the activities of our patrons in the parking lot, at the ticket gate, and inside the stadium to promote a safe and secure environment for both Westfield fans and for our visitors and guests.

- Although tailgating is allowed, in order to preserve parking spaces, please limit your tailgating to areas around the perimeter of the parking lots; preferably grassy areas.  Please avoid taking up multiple parking spots in the middle of the parking lot. No grilling is allowed.

- Patrons will not be allowed to enter the stadium with athletic equipment such bats, balls, sticks, etc.

- Patrons will not be allowed to enter the stadium with containers such as water bottles, cups, cans, etc.

- Back Packs will not be allowed in the stadium.

- Our region policy for varsity football games states that once you pay and enter the stadium you may not leave and reenter without paying again. Please plan accordingly.

- Westfield HS students and parents are asked to demonstrate good citizenship and spirited sportsmanship to our opponents and their fans. Also, any clothing that includes negative references to opposing teams/schools will not be tolerated.  Let's show everyone why our student section, The Dog Pound, is the Class of the Region!

Thank you in advance for your adherence to these guidelines.

GO BULLDOGS!
