We look forward to seeing your student on

Monday, August 26!

Please remind your student of the following:

Make note of their bus number! At dismissal, students will need to know their bus number so they board the correct bus.

When arriving at school7th graders will report to the cafeteria, pick up a new copy of their schedule, and go to their QST classroom (listed as Block 8 on their schedule).  8th graders will report to Gym 2, pick up a new copy of their schedule, and go to their QST classroom. Students who need to turn in forms will go to the library to get their schedule.

Important Forms

We have five required forms: Emergency care form, Heath form, After School Activities form, Technology form, Student Rights and Responsibilities Form (not included in the mailer home, please print from our website).  All forms can be found here. If your student has not turned in their forms, please make sure they bring them on Monday.  They should take their forms to the library to get their schedule.

New Kiss & Ride Procedures

Due to our upcoming renovation, Kiss & Ride will follow a different pattern this year.  In order to alleviate long lines at Kiss & Ride, please encourage your student to ride the bus.

Cell phone policy

As a technology forward school, Cooper Middle School teaches and promotes appropriate digital citizenship.  Our staff recognizes that a consistent school-wide policy to eliminate cell phone use during class will help students stay present and engaged in their learning.  Cell phones, smartwatches, airpods, and any other non-computer communication device must be powered off and locked in lockers from 7:30am to 2:15pm.  Devices may be used immediately after school and during after school activities.

Upcoming events:

Monday, August 26-First Day of School

School hours are 7:30am-2:15pm.  Students are expected to be seated in their classroom at 7:30am. In preparation for our renovation, the back parking lot is filled with trailers.  Our Kiss & Ride area is very limited. Students are strongly encouraged to ride the bus to school.
