FCPSOn Laptop Distribution Dates
Laptops will be issued August 12th-15th and will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Students should bring a school ID or some other form of ID to expedite the check-out process, which is outlined below:
During laptop checkout, students will:
- Watch a brief video on technology best practices
- Reset or verify their password
- Receive their device, 65W power adapter and laptop protective sleeve
- Log onto their device, create their profile, and log onto Google Apps and Blackboard
- Join McLean HS-specific Google classrooms
- Complete a Google Form contract
 Make-up dates will be held August 19 - 20 from 8:00-2:30.

Freshman/New Student Orientation
All freshmen and transfer students are invited to attend orientation on Thursday, August 22, 2019. The students will learn about McLean High School, have time to meet with their counselor, and walk through their schedule with their Big Mac (student mentor). This experience will help them be better prepared for the first day of school. The program begins at 9:00 am and will end at 12:00 pm. Buses will leave campus at 12:15.
Students can ride a school bus to the orientation. Students will be picked up at 8:30 at their closest elementary school and dropped off at the same location at 12:30.
Parent Freshman/New Student Orientation
On the evening of August 22nd, we will have a meeting for freshman and new-to-McLean parents in the auditorium beginning at 5:00pm. This meeting will last approximately one hour.
Parking Permits
