Good Afternoon Ravensworth Families,
It’s hard to believe but in just a few short weeks we will begin another exciting school year. We want to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning families to the Ravensworth School Community. This year promises to be one of learning, growth and fun for All.
Please welcome Bunny Lancaster to Ravensworth. Mrs. Lancaster is a former principal in Fairfax County and will be supporting Ravensworth until the new principal has been selected.
Our Bell Schedule remains the same as last year; 8:35 am to 3:20 pm.
Combined Open House and Back to School Event
This year Ravensworth ES is going to hold a combined Open House and Back to School Event on 8/22/19. The Open House will follow the same structure as in years past. At 12:00 pm parents and students will meet their teachers and visit their classrooms. At 12:30 pm the Back to School event will begin. Students will be escorted from their classroom to one of three supervised locations and the Back to School presentations will begin. As in years past, we will hold two sessions for parents with more than one child at Ravensworth. After the Back to School sessions, parents will pick students up from the gym, library or cafeteria.
