While it may seem as though summer just began, it is already time to start planning for all of our Bobcats to return to school.
This year, Pine Spring has created a community event that will allow you to meet your child's teacher, and learn about the grade level's curriculum all in one day.
We will start the afternoon with a BBQ where you can join us anywhere from 2:00PM-3:30PM. During the BBQ we will have tables set-up for you to discover who your child's teacher is for the year. The tables will be set-up by last name.
Families will then meet with your child's grade level to learn about the curriculum and what to expect for the upcoming year.
We will finish the event with an opportunity for you to see your child's classroom. We hope you can join us!
It is my pleasure to announce that Ms. Jennifer Ganci has been named the new assistant principal for Pine Spring Elementary School.
Ms. Ganci comes to us with 17 years of experience in education, over a decade of that time has been spent in Title I schools. She has previously held the position of classroom teacher, Reading Specialist, Instructional Coach and most recently, Central Literacy Resource Teacher in the FCPS Title I Office.
Throughout her career, Ms. Ganci has had an opportunity to work with a variety of schools, administrators, and teachers to ensure that all children receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education. She has collaborated with schools teams to create and implement school wide goals to close educational achievement gaps. We are excited for her to continue her journey with us here at Pine Spring.
