Mrs. Tami Stubblefield, who previously served as the Director of Student Services at Franklin Middle School, joined the Stone community as the New Director of Student Services at Stone Middle School effective August 1st. Tami Stubblefield brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Stone. She is a caring leader who brings years of student centered instructional leadership. Her leadership style and strong ability to build relationships will students, staff, and families promotes a positive and engaging school community.
Mrs. Stubblefield began her FCPS career as a Professional School Counselor in 2006, working at Robinson Secondary, West Springfield, Luther Jackson Middle School and Franklin Middle School. As a school counselor she has been instrumental in implementing the SOS program/Wellness Screening, Online Course Registration and receiving RAMP recognition. She has actively supervised the counseling team, Special Education, World Language, ESOL, Fine Arts and Health and PE Departments.
Mrs. Stubblefield earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Indiana State University, her Masters of Arts in Education and Human Development at George Washington University and her Administrative Endorsement at George Mason University. She was nominated as the FCPS Outstanding Counselor of the Year and received the Robinson Secondary PTSA People Choice Award. Through her tenure with FCPS, she remained abreast of the latest trends in education and teacher leadership by attending workshops on equity and student achievement.
