Milk & Cookies Reading Event at Gunston - Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Join us for milk and cookies while also listening to books read aloud by Gunston ES Staff and engaging in fun reading activities. We will also have our Book Swap. Bring a book and swap or just take a book to read over the summer.
Community Visits - Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
Gunston staff is coming to a neighborhood near you! We’ll bring treats, smiles, hugs, and information about our Back to School Fair. Details about specific locations and time are coming soon.
Backpack Dash Fun-Run Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 8:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Occoquan Regional Park is sponsoring a 5k and fun run race on August 25th that will benefit local kids in need by providing them with new backpacks and school supplies. Our partners at LL Bean will be providing the backpacks and we will be asking our race participants and park guests to help fill the packs. The link to the race is below.
