Dr. Zena Chapman, who currently serves as the Director of Student Services at Stone, has been named the new Director of Student Services at Franklin Middle School, effective August 1st. Dr. Chapman has served the Stone community for over 19 years. She is an outstanding, talented, and compassionate leader. She works tirelessly to ensure our students, staff, and families have the support they need to ensure students success. Her commitment to create opportunities for our students and maximize a master schedule each year also support student learning. The Student Services department under her leadership has provided countless hours of counseling services to support the social emotional needs of students. She has supervised the Special Education, Language Arts, and ESOL teams with outstanding results.
Beyond her professional responsibilities she has created personal and lasting relationships that have endeared her to the Stone community and will transcend time and place. She will always be a part of the Stone community and we will continue to cherish our friendships with her. Zena will be with us through the end of July and officially start at Franklin Middle School on August 1st . We wish her much success in all her future endeavors.
