Weyanoke is proud to welcome our newest Woodchuck, Assistant Principal Michelle Doyle. Mrs. Doyle joins us from Westlawn Elementary School, where she also served as an Assistant Principal for four years.  While there, Mrs. Doyle led the Positivity Project and Positive Behavior Approaches team in building strong and respectful school citizens.  Her deep understanding of supporting language learners stems from 9 years of experience as an ESOL teacher.  Mrs. Doyle brings many years of experience and knowledge in the areas of instructional leadership, staff professional development and collaboration.  Mrs. Doyle believes strongly that all students can and will learn at the highest level.  She also understands the importance of building partnerships with the community she serves and the important role family engagement plays in impacting student performance.

Originally from Massachusetts, Ms. Doyle attended Virginia Tech, George Mason University, and the University of Virginia and holds degrees in Marketing, Curriculum and Instruction, and Education Administration and Supervision.
