New FCHS Assistant Principals

Jaguar Community,

I am very excited to introduce FCHS' two new assistant principals!

Ms. Missy Brady (right in photo) and Ms. Kristi Layman (left in photo)!

Ms. Brady is coming to us from Justice High School where she was a dean of students for two years before stepping into the assistant principal role in 2017. Ms. Brady taught middle school science at Robinson Secondary from 2000 to 2015 and also served as the science department chair for twelve years. She lives with her husband, two boys, ages 5 and 7 and her dog. She enjoys watching sports, skiing and going to see live music. She is also a proud Virginia Tech alumna. Ms. Brady will be supervising Science, Health & PE, and the POD.

Ms. Layman is joining us from Westfield High School, where she worked as the SOSA since 2017. Prior to her role as SOSA, she taught Spanish at both Oakton and Langley High Schools for a total of 10 years. Ms. Layman enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, going to the movies and listening to live music. She will be supervising Social Studies, Fine & Performing Arts, and AVID.

Both are strong leaders and have positively impacted their students, staff and school communities...I am confident that they will do the same here at FCHS!
