Summer Reading Assignment
We wanted to share with you the summer reading assignment for next year. We would like you all to read at least ONE new (to you) book of your choice during the summer. Not sure what book to read? Check out this site to help you decide: http://bit.ly/WhatToReadNext. Our goal is to promote reading for pleasure. Whether you’re on a plane, in the car, at the beach, pool, or in the comfort of your own home, it’s great to have a book in hand! At the beginning of the school year, your English teacher will share with you an assignment that you will complete to share about the book you read. We are so excited to see what everyone picks to read over summer!
Summer Math Packets
Don’t forget to complete your summer math packets. The math teachers have put together summer math packets for students taking Math 7 Honors, Algebra 1, Algebra 1 Honors, Geometry Honors, and Algebra 2 Honors. Math packets are located on the RCMS website. Students should complete the packet corresponding to the math course they will be taking when school starts in August and bring the completed packet with them the first day of school.
