With the school year winding down and many families making plans for summer camps, vacations, and other activities, be sure to note that the first day of school for the 2019-20 school year will be Monday, August 26. Other notable dates include Thanksgiving break, November 27-29; Winter break, December 23, 2019-January 3, 2020; Spring Break, April 6-10, 2020; and the last day of school, June 12, 2020. Summer office hours are 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, June 20 – August 2.
The office will be closed Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5.

It takes a lot of courage to run so we are proud of all of the candidates. A huge thank you to our outgoing officers. They have done a great job and we have really enjoyed working with them.
The end of the school year has been bittersweet as we say farewell to our beloved principal, Ms. Stokowski. Clermont students expressed their affection and well-wishes in various ways. Above right, 6th grade students sang a song in her honor at their promotion ceremony. We will miss you Principal Stokowski! We wish you a very happy retirement.
Please make sure your rising kindergarteners are registered as soon as possible. Also, remind anyone you know that is new to the neighborhood to come into the office over the summer to register their children for school.
Order next year’s classroom supplies now and relax this summer! The Clermont PTA has once again partnered with Campus Survival to offer easy, online supply shopping for the 2019-20 school year. Simply go to www.campussurvivalkits.com/clermont and select the grade(s) of your student (s) for next school year. The supplies will be delivered directly to Clermont and available for pick up at the open house in August. All orders must be placed no later than July 15.
Congratulations to Clermont student Ethan Gedamu, who won first prize in the WETA Kids Writers Contest 2019. He has also published several poems in Zoobooks Magazine. Great job Ethan!
 You can find inspiration even in the Clermont bathrooms! Thank you to the SCA for purchasing the bathroom stall decals, as well as the umbrella for the courtyard, the welcoming board for the lobby, and the green screen app for the iPads!
