Date Reminders: The last day of school is Thursday, June 13 and it will be a three-hour early release day; students will be released at 1:05pm. SEES office hours for the summer will be 9:00am to 1:00pm. Be sure to note that the first day of school for the 2019-20 school year will be Monday, August 26. Report Cards and SOL Results: SOLs are over and we are delighted with the improvement in student achievement across all grade levels! Parents will receive their child’s SOL report along with the report card on the last day of school.
Yearbook Orders: Pre-paid yearbooks will be distributed to students on Monday. Please make sure that your child’s name is in their yearbook if they will be bringing it to school during the week. We have a few additional ones for sale; the cost is $12 (exact change only or checks made payable to Lifetouch) and they will be available on a first come, first served basis on Tuesday morning in the office.
Bus Transportation Special Requests for 2019-2020: If your child will be using a bus stop next year other than the one assigned by FCPS transportation, you MUST complete the Exception to Ride TR52 form (click here and scroll to the link for the TR52 form). This includes children who go to SACC programs at other schools or who are using a stop other than the one automatically assigned by FCPS (such as for child care). These requests DO NOT roll over from year to year and must be renewed at the start of each school year. Once the next school year starts, Exception to Ride requests are not considered until October so it is important to start this process now. If you complete the attached form and send it back to school by Wednesday, June 12, we will ensure that the forms gets to FCPS Transportation this summer for consideration for next school year. If your child will be using the stop assigned automatically by FCPS, you do not need to complete this form.
Concert Kudos: Mr. Jakes, Mr. Ward, Mr. Smith and our incredible children presented wonderful band and strings concerts these past two weeks. We certainly have a talented group of students!

Crayola ColorCycle: We are collecting all types of used markers (Crayola and other brands) to send to Crayola for repurposing. Boxes can be found in the main office as well as in K-2 classrooms for collection Markers will be collected up until the end of the school year.
School Supplies for 2019-2020: Looking for an easy way to purchase school supplies for next school year? SEES PTA is pleased to offer School Supply Kits as a convenient way to purchase exactly what your child needs for the classroom! Supply kits will be delivered to your home on or before August 16. To order, click here and enter the school code: SPR083. Click on the grade your child will be in for the next school year (2019-2020).
