Sources of Strength (SOS) Program

We are looking for students interested in participating in the Sources of Strength Program during the 2019-2020 school year.  There will be an informational meeting on Friday, June 7th, during LS 4 at 10:00 a.m. in Ms. Jonsson’s Room # 2421.  Students should check in with their LS 4 teacher first for attendance purposes before attending the meeting.  If you would like additional information on the program, please contact Ms. Vaccarello at dhvaccarello@fcps.edu.

Lunches

June 7th marks the first day of early release (11:15) for underclass students. This will also start when boxed lunches offered in the cafeteria.

Yearbooks-

Students who pre-ordered should pick up their yearbooks in room 1112 (near Door 2) before the end of the school year. Not sure if you pre-ordered? Students can check the list outside of room 1112 or email jabeach@fcps.edu. Students who pre-ordered have also been sent a reminder email.

We still have a few yearbooks available for sale.  They are $80 and only cash is accepted.

WSHS Pantry

The West Springfield High School Pantry is winding down for the year and as summer approaches we want to make sure our students and families have items to help them make it through the coming months until school resumes in August. As such, there are forms outside of the pantry door, Room 1053 (down the hall from the main office, beside the Career Center) for student to pick up. We normally have students drop off the forms on Wednesdays, however with the end of the year approaching, we will accept forms every day until school is let out for the remainder of this school year. You can drop your form off in a couple of places:

  • In the mailbox outside of the Pantry
  • With your Counselor

Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Tisa Frederick!
