Jane Ampah, Youth Services Manager of the George Mason Regional Library, visited Weyanoke to discuss summer reading options. She shared information about fun and interesting books for each grade level, and talked about the summer reading program the library hosts. Reading is a great way to avoid the "summer slide," where students lose learning over long breaks from school.
