DAIRY QUEEN SPIRIT NIGHT
We hope to see you at this week’s spirit night at Dairy Queen on Wednesday between 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Make sure you mention Clearview so a portion of the sales goes back to Clearview. Dairy Queen is located in downtown Herndon at 742 Lynn Street.
WALK IN MY SHOES

We are very excited to bring ‘Walk in My Shoes’ to Clearview Elementary School on Friday! A huge thank you to Valerie Catullo for pursuing and organizing this for our school. The purpose of Walk in My Shoes is to foster an environment where differences are respected by providing students with the opportunity to see the world from the viewpoints of others. The goal is for every child to feel welcome, safe and included in the Clearview community.
This interactive program for students in grades 4 & 5 will feature a number of activities that enable students to experience the world from the perspective of students with disabilities or sensory issues. In the gym, students will discuss what it means to include someone in an activity, how to use their strengths to help overcome weaknesses, and how to respect differences among classmates. Functioning as a team, working together, and helping each other are stressed throughout the week, during the event, and after the event during a debriefing with school counselors.
SUMMER CAMP FUNDRAISER
Overtime Athletics is hosting a Summer Fun Camp at Armstrong Elementary and they are offering $40 off per week for Clearview families. Just use the discount code ‘ClearviewPTA’ to receive your discounted rate. Clearview PTA will also receive a $10 donation for each child that registers using the code.
