Dear Centre Ridge Families,
Field Day today was a big success. Thank you so much to all of our volunteers who came up to support. Also a big thank you to the PE staff, Mr. Martinez, Mr. Sanders and Mr. Riggs, for creating such a fun event and putting so much thought into each event.
The main schedule of our SOL testing is done. (We just have some retakes next week). Thank you for having your students well rested and ready to come demonstrate their knowledge. They all did so well and I am proud of their accomplishments. We have just a week and half left of this school year and have many exciting activities on the schedule. I hope you will be able to come up to Centre Ridge and join us in the next few days.

BBQ lunch, June 6
The FCPS BBQ lunch is scheduled for June 6 on the blacktop. The lunch schedule will be slightly adjusted to reflect the extended time needed for the line. This is the only option for lunch on this day. We would love for you to come join your student if you can. We will send out the schedule next week.
Graduate Walk, June 6
Our former students who will be graduating from Centreville High School will come to Centre Ridge for the graduate walk. They will arrive at school around 1:45 and start walking the hallways around 2:00. They will start with upstairs classes, go to Multi Age and Kindergarten, then 4th grade and finish in 6th grade hallway. So proud of our former RAMS.
Heritage Night/Popsicles on the Playground June 6
We have combined two events this year. Pizza served at 5:30, then outside on blacktop for Heritage Night where families can set up tables celebrating their Heritage. (5:30-6:30). Please contact Mrs. Climo if you would like to present. At 6:30 the PTA will provide popsicles for everyone. Come celebrate with us!
Moving Up Day June 10/11
On Monday June 10 or Tuesday June 11 our students will get an opportunity to visit with a classroom for the grade above them so they can learn about the grade and ask questions. This is a great time to help our students start to prepare for next year.

Sixth Grade Promotion Ceremony June 12
The sixth grade promotion assembly and party is on Wednesday, June 12. The ceremony begins at 9:30 in the gymnasium. We hope to see all of our 6th graders and families there to celebrate their accomplishments.
