Activity Fair for 8th Grade

8th Grade Day

8th Grade Day, Thursday, June 6, is a fun, end-of-the-year day when 8th graders mingle with friends from other teams, play games, win prizes, and have a good time. Students often comment that this was the best time they had in school ever!  We are keeping this tradition alive thanks to the many parent volunteers involved.  The event ends with the annual student versus staff basketball game.

Summer Rams Read

This summer at Robinson teachers, staff, and students will read together over the summer, and come back in the fall with a common book to discuss.  This meaningful summer assignment will encourage reading, serve as culture-building, and open a conversation among students, faculty, and staff for discussion and activities in the fall.

Students will read Refugee by Alan Gratz. Refugee was selected for the Best Fiction for Young Adults list by the Young Adult Library Services Association in 2018.  Read more about the book and the author at:  www.alangratz.com/writing/refugee
