NOTES FROM THE LIBRARY
Please help the library as we switch to a brand new catalog system by returning all library books by Thursday, May 30th. It is necessary that each book in our collection (over 14,000!!) be returned by that date so all of our data can transfer successfully. Please keep an eye out for overdue notices. We will be sending them often for the remainder of the school year. If you have any questions, please email Meghan Saladino (mbsaladino@fcps.edu) or Nora Weiss (nweiss@fcps.edu). Thank you!
HELP WANTED!
Calling all Business People! Longfellow's Inventor's Club has been working hard on inventions this semester and we are going to present them on Tuesday, June 4 at 6:00 pm. We are looking for adults in the business world to come and "judge" the students' presentations and inventions. This is a low-key gig, designed to give real-world feedback to the students as they embark on their dreams. Please email Brianna Burnett at bburnett@fcps.edu if you are interested in helping. The students will greatly benefit from your feedback. Thank you!
AFTER SCHOOL PARENT SURVEY
Longfellow parents, below is a link for a quick survey about the Middle School After-School Program. The survey should take no longer than 5-10 minutes to complete. The survey is an important component of the after-school program evaluation and is critical for future funding. The more responses we receive, the more valuable and reliable the data. The responses not only allow us to assess the impact of the after-school program, but they help drive program improvement and program quality. This survey has been approved by the FCPS Internal Survey Review Committee. Seal Approval Number 19225. Over 95% of our students participated in the after-school program this school year, with over 22,000 occurrences of students staying after-school. Thank you for your continued support of the Middle School After-School Program! Please complete survey by the last day of school, June 14. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SLDCGM2
