 Art Students Busy Creating
Students in art are wrapping up the year with a variety of projects! Many grade levels are working in fiber arts, learning stitching, weaving, and two perennial favorites: kumihimo braiding and coil basket-making. We have even taken advantage of the beautiful weather and brought our work outside for some sunshine. Animals have taken over the art room as first graders finish up sculptures that connect with their classroom curriculum, soon to be displayed in the CWES library “museum”!

Staff vs. 6th Graders Volleyball Game is Thursday
All classes are welcome. The temperature is expected to be in the 80’s so please dress your student comfortably and please make sure that they bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
Sixth grade, please wear your 6th t-shirts to show support for sixth grade!

Field Day - Friday, May 31st
It is with great excitement that we invite family and friends to join us for Field Day on Friday, May 31st! (Rain Date - Friday, June 7th) Grades K-3 will be from 10:00-12:00 and Grades 4-6 will be from 1:00-3:00. Come and see our children having fun, laughing, and enjoying the company of their friends while participating in the many field day activities being offered. We will be having a lot of activity centers at each session, so we will need many parent volunteers! We are very short on volunteers for Grades 4-6 Field Day, with 14 slots still available. We would LOVE your help! Think warm and dry weather and get ready to join us for the fun!

CWES LOVES Pop Tops
The 2nd grade continues to collect pop tops. The pop tops are donated to the Ronald McDonald house. Please send all pop tops to the school by June 7th.

Lost and Found
The lost and found is overflowing with jackets, hoodies, lunch boxes and a variety of other items. Please stop by and look for any items you may be missing. All items will be donated to charity at the end of the school year.
