Eyewitness to History Day

Rocky Run is looking for individuals who were eyewitnesses to important events in our country’s history for our school’s annual “Eyewitness to History Day” which will be held on Friday, May 31st.
What started as a World War II focused oral history program back in 2001 has expanded to include events from the Cold War and Civil Rights movement to the 9/11 attacks. Participants in our program are interviewed by small groups of students in an informal setting and no preparation is required in order to participate.

Food Donations for Eyewitness to History Day:
The Rocky Run PTA is sponsoring a luncheon for our wonderful veterans and guests during Eyewitness to History Day on Friday, May 31. Mission Barbecue will be providing the main course and hot sides, but we need your help to provide salads, chips, desserts, and beverages.
