8th Grade Gala Party! We’re closing in on the end of middle school for our 8th graders and they deserve to celebrate their successes and friendships.  We will be putting together an evening to remember!

Frost Middle School Presents:  Hollywood Nights! An evening of friends, fun, music, games and desserts! When: Friday, May 31st, 6:30-9 pm Where: Frost Middle School cafeteria and gyms Tickets:  $15 in advance ($20 at the door) Attire: Summer dress casual (slacks, polo shirts, sundresses, etc.)

Help Frost’s Odyssey of the Mind Team Raise Money to Compete! Frost’s PTA is helping Frost’s Odyssey team raise money with a Chipotle Night on May 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Fair City! Come socialize, support our team, and enjoy delicious food!  Print out the flyer, show it on your phone, or just tell them you are supporting Frost Odyssey!

Precisionettes Tryouts Coming Soon!! The Woodson Precisionettes will hold tryouts for the ‘19-’20 school year.  Students interested in trying out for the dance team should attend all three days of tryouts:

Tues, 5/21 5:30-7:30 pm (Woodson, Cafeteria A), Wed, 5/22  and Thurs, 5/23 5:30-7:30 pm (Woodson Dance Studio, Door 5).

**All dancers must have a physical exam and a completed VHSL Physical Form dated after 5/1/19 in order to participate in try-outs, as well as a completed Emergency Care Form, and Try-out Questionnaire.  

ATTIRE: Hair in tight ponytail or bun, jazz shoes or sneakers, athletic wear (no jeans!). Please contact Coach Caitlin at caitlinlee55@gmail.com and Coach Emily at emontgomery@fcps.edu with any questions.

 

WOODSON GIRLS BASKETBALL 2019 SUMMER CAMP! Learn directly from Woodson Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach Erik Cassily. Counselors and additional instructors include Woodson Girls Basketball players, alumni, and assistant coaches. Attendees will learn basketball fundamentals while having fun with games and activities! Each camper will receive a free t-shirt and additional prizes. Lunch and concessions will be available throughout the day.

Woodson Ice Hockey Club! Love hockey? Woodson Ice Hockey Club is looking for new players and hockey enthusiasts. Players of all skill levels are welcomed to join the Woodson Ice Hockey Club and participate on the team. We just finished up a successful season in the Capital Scholastic Hockey League (CSHL). We are putting together a team to compete in the spring high school league at Reston Ice Arena. Rising 8th graders are welcome to join the team for the spring season. There are no tryouts, and the season consists of approximately 10 games and four practices. This is a low-cost, low-key introduction to HS hockey!
