An enormous thank you from the Cooper teachers and staff for the wonderful lunch provided by the parents and PTO. The weather cooperated, and we were able to enjoy lunch in our Courtyard.
Microwaves are not available during lunches
Microwaves will not be available during lunches. Please pack lunches that do not required heating.

Cooper Band and Orchestra outstanding students
The Woman's Club of McLean recognized two outstanding Cooper students during their Annual Intermediate School Music Awards on May 7th. Congratulations to:
Ian Lee, Clarinet who performed Sonata for Clarinet in C Flat Movement 1 (by Camille Saint-Saens) and Audrey Goodner, Violin who performed Partita No. 3 for Solo Violin in E Major (by Johann Sebastian Bach).
Cooper Students earn First Place at Mid-Atlantic Junior Japan Bowl
Congratulations to Claire Kim, Nikko Lim and Emily Jao who participated in the Mid-Atlantic Junior Japan Bowl on May 10. They won First Place at the Middle School Level!
IMPORTANT reminders from Cooper Middle School
Students who are transported by car to and from Cooper must be dropped off and picked up at the designated area in the rear of the building by the Quad. Students must not be dropped in any other location. The safety of our students is paramount.
When leaving a message about your child's absence, please include a detailed explanation of the absence. Phone messages that don't identify a clear reason for the absence will be recorded as unexcused.
Cooper Cafeteria Funds
Please remember to add money to your child’s school nutrition account. All accounts must be brought current before the end of the school year in June.
