  • Dual Enrollment Deadline Approaching

AP Testing begins Tomorrow

With AP Testing beginning tomorrow here are a few reminders for those testing:

  • All students taking AM tests should be at the testing location no later than 7:45am. Students taking PM tests should arrive to their testing location no later than 11:45am. Testing locations can be found here.
  • Please remember all rules and policies including what can and cannot be in the testing room that you reviewed in your Bulletin for AP Student and Parents.  Page 5 has a helpful list of what to bring and what NOT to bring.
  • No electronic devices (including phones and smart watches) are allowed in the testing room (unless the test has an approved calculator).  Please remember NOT to bring devices to your AP Test.

Dual Enrollment Forms DUE Friday MAY 10

  • Students who signed up for a Dual Enrollment class, such as English 12 DE, US History DE, and Latin 4 DE must complete all required forms and placement testing and return the forms to Student Services by this Friday May 10.
  • If you are waiting for SAT results from yesterday’s SAT test, or an SOL score from this month’s SOL testing to complete the NOVA form, you must return your NOVA form by Friday and alert your counselor for the score/test results you are waiting for.
  • For English 12 DE, US History DE, and Latin 4 DE, Northern Virginia Community College requires every student in the class to have completed NOVA DE requirements. Therefore, students who have not followed up with forms or notified their counselor of a new course option for 19-20 will be dropped from the course and placed in the on-level version of the course (English 12/US History).
  • Contact your school counselor with any questions. Due to counselors proctoring AP Testing, it may be easiest to email questions.  You can find counselor contact information here
