Dear Fox Mill Families and Friends,
Welcome to our first Fox Mill Focus of May! The month of May brings warmer weather, summer anticipation and, of course, SOLs! For those of you who have students in grades 3-6, please note the testing schedule below.
The P2 character trait for this week is Leadership. Leadership can be both formal and informal. It is concerned with getting others to do what needs to be done while maintaining group morale to ensure readiness to act in the future. This character strength's focus is on the personal qualities of leaders, rather than the practice of leadership. These qualities include the ability to understand others and inspire them toward the common goal, the capacity of mitigate conflict and mold consensus, and the desire to lead other people.
Individuals with this strength might be described as:
Inspirational Persuasive Encouraging Motivational Trailblazer Organizer
Enjoy your weekend!
All the best,
Mr. Moose Ms. Greene
