International Day

International Day was a huge success. Thank you to all the parents and staff who volunteered. Don't forget to come tonight for the International Night activities.


Chess Tournament

The following students competed in a Chess Tournament over the weekend: Zachary Fisher, Lucy Shuman, Quinn Washington, Zacki Barmil, Rami Barmil, Shadi Barmil, Justin Landgrebe, Andrew Landgrebe, Marina Hall, Carter Nelson, and Cristian Aranzana. The team came in 2nd place overall.  Carter Nelson also placed 3rd overall in the 6th - 8th grade division.  Congratulations to all.


Clermont SOL Testing Schedule

Spring SOL testing in grades 3 - 6 will begin on May 8, 2019.  Please ensure that your children get a good nights sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and show up to school on-time on testing days.

Now that we are getting into warmer weather, please make sure your child wears sunscreen and/or has the appropriate items needed for outdoor recess. We will have outdoor recess daily unless the weather deems unfit.


Will you be moving this summer?

Moving

As part of the counseling program at Clermont Elementary, we have small group counseling on the topic of moving.  The groups meet one time per week for 3 weeks.  Meetings are during the school day and last for thirty minutes.

We will do research on your child’s new school.   Please provide information if you have it.  If you don’t have the school information, we will research the town or state you are moving to.  Please complete form no later than May 10th.


Pumpkin Patch

A great big thank you to Mr. Ahl and the volunteers who helped create a pumpkin patch for the kindergartners so they can plant pumpkins this spring.
