SOL Testing at Lees Corner

Students in grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 will take Standards of Learning (SOL) tests starting next week. You may view Lees Corner's complete SOL Testing Schedule by clicking here or by going to the Lees Corner home page.

Please keep the testing schedule in mind as you schedule appointments and other events that may take your child out of school. Tests generally begin at about 9 a.m. each day so it is important for students to arrive to school on time. We will share more information about testing in the near future.

Help Wanted!

LCES is seeking 1-2 adult volunteers to help reorganize our school book room in early June. If you are interested, please email Mrs. Poole at bcpoole@fcps.edu by Friday, May 24th. Thank you!

Donations for Art

Our art department is looking for baby wipe donations to use in art classes. If you would like to donate baby wipes, please send them with your child at any time. Thank you!

Lost & Found

We have quite a collection of LOST items in our Lost & Found--shirts, sweaters, jackets, hats, etc. If your child is missing something, please feel free to stop by and check our Lost and Found buckets in the cafeteria.

Any items not claimed will be donated to a local charity.

April

Our school raised $2,200 during the month of April for Autism and Child Abuse Awareness. We are a caring community!
