2019-2020 Class Placement Input
Planning is beginning for the 2019-2020 school year! To assist in this process, we would like to give you the opportunity to provide some information about your child.
Your child’s current teachers (upcoming teachers for rising Kindergartners) work as a grade level team in collaboration with specialists to prepare class assignments for the next school year. They will review this form and consider the information relevant to the class assignment. Fairview's staff is remarkable! Please do not request a specific teacher.
Please complete the form and submit by Wednesday, May 15! Submit one form per student attending Fairview Elementary.

Congratulations, Mrs. Rossiter!
Please join us in congratulating Iris Rossiter for her nomination as NOVA District PTA Volunteer of the Year. As you may know, Iris has served as the Chair of Community Outreach and Sponsorships and has been behind so many of this year's accomplishments. Iris led the highly successful Toy Drive, Bingo Night (including acquisition of Disney tickets and bingo prizes!), Neon Nights Concessions, Mt. Kim Partnership, and more. What's more, for each of these adventures, she worked without a handbook, historical record, or even a retired chair to show her the ropes. She started everything from scratch without a recipe. If you participated in any of the events mentioned, you saw first hand how a powerhouse like Iris can make things happen. Her innovative spirit and strong leadership helped make this a great year full of new things for Fairview -- and earned her the nomination.
The winner of this district-wide award will be announced at the NOVA District Annual Meeting & Awards Reception on May 5. Congratulations, Iris! Thank you for all you do for Fairview!
