I hope this message finds you well. I am taking the easy way out this time and pasting all the important message that was already included in the PTA newsletter below! It is everything I want to promote to you this week. I really hope to see you at all three events - the PTA meeting, staff volleyball game, and the 5K/Spring Fling!

PTA MEETING, 5/1, 6:30PM, LIBRARY
Join us for our PTA meeting on Wednesday, May 1st at 6:30 pm in the library. Childcare will be provided. We will be finalizing the slate for the 2019-2020 board and discuss end of year events like the Fun Run/Spring Fling and Field Day.

FACULTY VOLLEYBALL GAME 5/3, 6:30
Come cheer on our slammin' jammin', awesome blossom Freedom Hill team! Save the date to watch our FHES teachers and staff play volleyball against Westgate Elementary School teachers on May 3 at 6:30 pm at Marshall High School. This event is always high energy and fun! We will have pizza and snacks for sale. Pre-order pizza here. We also need volunteers - sign up here. Questions or want to help organizing a PTA event? Contact Elizabeth Spinney Castro.

FUN RUN & SPRING FLING, 5/5, 8-11AM
Come out and run our 5K or Fun Run (1 mile) then enjoy our Spring Fling afterwards, where there will be loads of fun free events, games, music, a moon bounce, a smoothie truck and lots more!
Register for the race to ensure your t-shirt by this Wednesday, 4/24. The website is up - check it out so you can register, volunteer or see what will be there. A message from the PTA: Register here (online registration is preferred). Paper registrations (to leverage the family option for the 5K) will be accepted until Wed., April 24th. The 5K begins at 9AM, 1M Fun Run begins at 9:05AM. Runners, walkers, strollers all encouraged for the Fun Run. Q's? Contact Kristy.
And of course - save the date and spread the word about the Spring Fling after the race on May 5th from 9:30-12pm at Freedom Hill. This free event is open to the entire community. No need to have a student at the school to attend so encourage your neighbors, friends and family to come. There there will be loads of fun activities like: Moon bounce and music, games like cornhole, outside bowling and outside checkers, free snacks and custard samples (Kiln & Co.), live entertainment, nail painting and Chalk art contest, silent auction with awesome prizes, smoothie truck and lots more!
